Kong flyer
The
Kong flyer, made
from exclusive Kong highly resistant natural rubber is
the
world´s best flexible rubber flying disc.
Accurate fly and soft catch make the Kong flyer perfect for a game of
fetch and catch with your dog.
Always play on a flat,
grass field free of holes, rocks or other potentially dangerous
obstacles. Do not throw near trees, fences, posts or other obstructions. Always
have water and shade
available for your dog to
prevent overheating during practice. Keep workouts short at first
allowing your dog a rest as needed. Be carefull with
overweight dogs, senior dogs or dogs with joint diseases. Do not force
them to jump.
The KONG
Flyer should be used as a retrieval toy
not a tug toy. Tugging can be counterproductive to the
retrieval game. The KONG
Flyer is not a chew toy. When you start teaching
your dog how to play, rolling
the disc on the ground, like a wheel, is the best way to get him
interested in chasing. Roll the disc on its side using a roll toss. When
your dog picks up the disc, call his name and tell him to bring the
disc back to you. If successful, praise or reward with
any KONG Stuff’N Treat. Never get mad if he
doesn´t do whant you want; be very patient and
think of some other way to call his attention. A good trick
if your dog does not bring the disc back when called is offering
another KONG Flying Disc or any other toy in exchange. If
your dog proves to be a little stubborn, then you may have to resort to
using a 30-foot training lead.
